OUR STORY
Texas Blends started on a family farm. Our family worked our 160-acre farm starting in 1918 with our great-grandfather, W.J. Young, and passed it down through four generations: to our grandfather, our dad and then us. We grew up walking corn rows and weeding bean fields, and we saw every harvest through to market. That is where we learned to take care at every step. (Part of that land is now home to one of Walmart's largest distribution centers.)
Over two decades ago we opened and ran a well-known smoothie franchise. Serving customers every day showed us how much a great-tasting, consistent product matters, and in 2012 Texas Blends opened its doors in Houston.
Too many drink mixes have tossed quality out the window to save money. A lot of places are stuck with a powder, a "sugar water" mix, or a homemade recipe that never tastes the same twice. We created Texas Blends Premium Mixes to bring quality back.
Today we make shelf-stable premium mixes, made with real fruit on our fruit flavors and aseptically packed, for bars, restaurants, daiquiri shops, venues and home slush machines across the country. Just add water and you get the same great drink every time, usually for less than your current recipe costs.
